Hace un año y medio tuvo parálisis de las cuerdas vocales por lo que nadie podría atreverse a decir que continuaría con su sueño de ser cantante. "El médico nos decía: 'Hay alguien allá arriba que quiere que (David) cante porque médicamente no debiera poder cantar'", confiesa a People, Jeff Archuleta, su padre.
